Then we paddled into the southwest bay and saw probably 100 carp swimming around.
Then we saw 2 big black logs up ahead... that turned out to be 2 big black angus cows cooling off in the lake! I had never seen a cow wading around in a lake before!
Unfortunately, all you could see were either shadows or briefly their fins just sticking over the surface. Mostly, we just saw the burst when they took off because we'd gotten too close!
The connection is weak here, so it is hard to keep the connection long enough to get the photos uploaded. I tried 3 times last night to get some photos uploaded before I gave up...
BTW, we also went for a cruise on Colin's boat later in the day and saw another couple cows out cooling off in the lake! Didn't have the camera for that one, tho...
Hey Colin we are going to visit Dale and Judy Danielson this afternoon Jeannie and Grandma Pat both got fairly sunburned yesterday, have to stay out of the sun today! It is supposed to be 93 degrees! Crazy puzzle yesterday (got a bit wild) and a pretty silly game of Golf. Wish you were here! Hope exams and papers are going well much love! Mom
